Product Rating The BlackBerry 9300 is seen by many as a device that sits neohwre. It does not have the same quality camera as the Bold 9700 or the ultra clear HVGA display. It also has a lesser battery, but is a375 cheaper than the Bold. When compared to the Curve 8520 the comparison gets even tighter- for an extra a395 you get 3G and HSDPA, a classier design and that’s about it. All of the other specifications are very similar and so you are left with some choices as to which is right for you.On the one hand it could be difficult to justify paying a395 for faster internet and a slightly different design. Then again, surely a375 seems a small price to pay to get a battery quality camera, better battery and a much crisper display with arguably better build quality. The Curve 9300 will sell in huge numbers because it is a Curve. They always sell in huge numbers. I have to say though that the 8520 and 9700 seems like better value to me and maybe to many others as well. That was my initial impression of the 9300 and is still a view I find hard to dismiss. With so many BlackBerry devices on the market filling the a3150-a3350 price point it can be hard for the potential purchaser to decide which one is the best value. What I will do, however, is judge the 9300 on merit and see how well it measures up at its current price point. In the boxThe box and accessories are pure RIM. A charger with UK/EU adaptors, stereo headset, data cable and a user guide. The battery is rated at 1150mAh which would normally be a cause for concern, but this is a BlackBerry and my experience is that they go on forever on one charge. However, we do have 3G functionality here so it will be interesting to see how well the 9300 copes when everything is turned on.First ImpressionsMy very first impression was that the phone is almost identical to the Curve 8520. It feels plastic, but has a patterned battery cover which aids grip. The silver surround is obviously included to give it a more expensive look, but is again made of plastic. It looks good, but in the hand the 9300 really does feel like the 8520 in almost every way. The good news is that it is almost the perfect form factor for a comfortable experience and it feels better in the hand than any other phone I have held. There is something special about the dimensions which come together with the materials to offer a phone that is almost perfectly balanced. I am not convinced that the silver surround should be there though because this is likely the only area that will be prone to scratches and knocks. At a mere 104 grams it will not be noticeable in any pocket and the 14mm depth is acceptable. To round out the hardware the screen is clear and sharp, as you would expect from a non-touch, and the keyboard is again almost identical to the 8520 i.e. perfectly quick in daily use. The 9300 is a very well made phone which panders to all of the hardware practicalities BlackBerry users require and has a form that makes you feel at home straight away. I will keep coming back to the 8520 though because besides the silver surround, there is very little difference between the two.FunctionalityThe 9300 is fast! It is as quick as the 8520 and 9700 and there is little doubt that OS 5 coupled with 256MB RAM and a relatively low specified processor is still capable of providing speeds that other platforms and phones are not capable of. There is never a blip in performance and in the past 3 days I have left multiple programs running with no impact on performance. It will be interesting to see what happens when OS 6 is released for this phone, but the good news is that it will take it so you will be buying a smartphone that can handle the future of BlackBerry. And this is an important point because it is arguably the main difference between the 8520 and the 9300 with the former not able to receive an update to OS 6.Call quality and signal are top class, as usual for RIM, and even the speakerphone sounds crisp and deep enough with no distortion even at high volumes. Cranking it all the way to the top will create some distortion, but through the headphones and to the ear this phone is a top quality voice caller. I managed to receive HSDPA quite often with the 9300 which is absent on other phones and a permanent 3G signal at home. I rejoiced for a few minutes until I remembered that having a fast mobile data connection on an OS 5 BlackBerry is of little consequence. The messaging system is so efficient that simple GPRS is more than enough to cope with email and BlackBerry Messenger and the web browsing experience is dire on the low resolution screen. I have to look to the future again and fully expect the 3G capability to come into its own when the WebKit browser arrives in OS 6. At this time, however, the extra speed is not overly noticeable in the tasks you are likely to undertake.Music is quality is above average, but no way near the level we see from the high-end devices suc

Product Rating Hi Rebecka, these Blackberry’s that you talk about are old, slow, laggy, ugly and have very poor camera’s, the iPhone 4 on the other hand is amazing, blackberry’s don’t even come close. The iPhone has a better camera, a really good touch screen, accelerometers (you can turn it), a gyro-scope (you can turn it on angles other phones won’t recognize), better speakers, MUCH easier to use and faster internet, the iPhone is more customizable than the blackberry’s, MUCH MUCH better screen quality, better application store, better phone ability’s, the iPhone is also much better at a lot lot more. The only blackberry that comes close to the iPhone 4 is the Blackberry Torch in my opinion, even though the iPhone’s even better than that!! The only phone on that comes close to the iPhone on the market is the HTC Desire. And BTW the Blackberry bold is much better than the curve 3G.

Product Rating Hi, If you call them directly all they should need to know is what state you are in. A lot about your rate is dependent on the individual state policies and regulations. That is what they need to give you a quote as far as I know and I assume the rest of the info is indeed so they can send you junk mail etc (could be wrong though). Check out the company I listed below. They have by far the best rates I have ever heard of and If you call can give you a quote in about 5 minutes. Good luck,

Product Rating If the outside of the phone looks exactly the same as your last one its probably the same phone. However the most likely reason the phone layout and everything looks different is because the software is newer or older than the one you had before. You can update to the newest software if you hook your curve up to your computer and using desktop manager you can update it. Just click application loader, and then update device software and let it do its thing. hope this helps!!ps- dnt unplug or interuppt your blackberry while the software is being downloaded, it will nuke your phone and left it completly unusable!

Product Rating Which blackberry curve did you have before? There is a chance that they have given you a blackberry curve 8520 instead of a curve 9300, as the two look almost exactly the same. However there is also the possibility that they have just given you a phone with old software. To update your blackberry software go to menu> options > advanced options > wireless update. This should update your new blackberry to the most recent software.

Product Rating The only difference I see beewten these two phones is the Software, Camera, and RAM. The Camera is not enhanced greatly and the software is not much different either. The RAM has doubled, which is a difference. The processor hasn’t even changed, so that means that the phone’s speed is almost going to be the same as it was before.
Product Rating I personally love my iPhone and will stick with it. I did use a BlackBerry Curve for a number of months but went back to the iPhone. I would rule out the Curve and decide between the Bold and the iPhone 4.I think it really comes down to what you use your phone for. While the BlackBerrys music player surprised me in how good it was, it did not even come close to comparing to the iPod functionality of the iPhone. If you will watch any videos, the iPhones screen size, and now resolution, will beat out the BB.While the BB App Store is catching up to the Apple App Store, it still doesn’t compare. Not only are there not close to as many apps in the BB App Store, but the quality of many doesn’t seem to be as well either. The fact that you can download apps on the BB that are just on the internet and not through the app store is a plus (though you can do this by jailbreaking your iPhone).Have you used an iPhone or iPod touch previously? Do you like the touchscreen interface for typing? It took me a few days to get used to it, both originally and when I went back to it from the BB, but I like it. I would type on both the BB Bold and BB Curve to see what you prefer though. I bought the Curve because the keys on the keyboard were spaced out a little more and it was more comfortable to type on.While I haven’t noticed any of the “signal dropping” that’s been widely reported, I will say that the iPhone’s signal strength isn’t nearly as strong as my Curve’s was or as strong as previous phones have been.I’m not sure which country you live in, but it is possible that your country has contract laws which allow you to return a phone within 15 or 30 (or whatever) days of purchasing the phone and resigning the contract and getting a different phone. I admit that I am biased toward the iPhone, I tried to give the good points of both.Good luck.

Product Rating Most states do not force you to choose where to take your vehicle for repairs…If you use the ones your insurance companies recommend they are usually guaranteed work at 100%. If you choose another shop ANY!!!! errors or problems will be your responsibility. Most companies also require they insurance adjusters to look at your vehicle PRIOR to any work being performed so they know what is done before any repairs and that is normal and standard procedure. This is in your best interest as well. so it is preferred you let your company and their company look at the vehicle..estimates are just that an estimate…one company may have better parts equipment software and can find cheaper local parts another may have older software and their parts have to be shipped which cost nmore and change the values of the two estimates, so estimates are usually never the same….ONCE work is performed their may also be hidden damages..this can be a cracked bumper absorner that one couldn’t see visibly so the estimate may increase..THIS IS OK if it is determined to be accident related..FYI***THERE IS A HUGE RISK IN USING SHOPS YOU CHOOSE UNLESS YOU PERSONALLY KNOW THEIR WORK…*Insurance companies pay people to research and monitor body shops who they place on their lists, in most states it is illegal to get any amount of the shops profits..they are partnerred with trust and confidence and recommendations..if a shop has angry customers reviews, service and work they are quickly and easily removed because other shops WANT to be in connection with free recomendation and customers** If you go to a shop who owes back taxes it is your responsibility to ask, because the govmnt will take their back taxes due amount from any work performed by that shop…If the company that you choose disagree’s with the bill they can hold your vehicle until their pymnt is made and won’t care if you are in the middle..If you choose your own shop and they pait your maroon car red is some areas it is your responsibility to get it corrected. It is not worth the risk. I ALWAYS use their shop because they have to fix the damages and return you to a rental if it is something their shop did wrong…If you use your choosen shop good luck..sorry so long
